“ Is not the most erotic portion of a body where the garment gapes?… It is this flash that seduces, or rather: the staging of an appearance-as-disappearance.” – Roland Barthes

    .

“ The very essence of romance is uncertainty.” – Oscar Wilde

    .

Amidst entangling mesh, two lovers unite. They are guided by the confines of this particular environment, allowing themselves to be enveloped in the materials. Ambiguity encompasses the forms, and eventually they themselves become enmeshed in this physical and theoretical lattice, a manifestation of hedonistic desire and corporeal reception.

“ Eroticism is like a dance; one always leads the other.” – Milan Kundera

They take turns: one wrapping the other, one unsheathing the other, a continuity of tender motion. The images are evocative of a painting, depicting a romantic encounter in which the heroines bare their flesh and dare to share a moment of eroticism.

Adrift in a sea of raw materials, the lovers discover a sensual rawness derived from intimate exploration of each other. Consciousness, like the trappings in which they began, has slipped away. Breathing deeply, whispering softly, inhaling pheromones, tenderly touching, and laughing lightly, the lovers illustrate the quintessential experience of sensual arousal.
