STRIPPED: A Tony Ward Studio Exclusive Blog Series

    .

……….Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the greatest show on earth. We have dancing girls and… and, um, well the rest pretty much evolves from there. I stand by my statement – that it is the greatest show on earth. A profession that has existed since the dawn of time, entertaining men, and playing into their sexual desires has been something our society practically instills in women from the time they are born. For as long as man has roamed the earth, woman have been there to captivate them with her beauty, charm, wit, and of course sex. Some women more than others have a “gift”. They have the ability to tap into the male mind and gain a seemingly endless power over them. Is it a gene, a talent, a look, or a learned trade? Is it beauty or brains? What is it about this elite group of the female population that makes them so irresistible that they can get whatever they want?

    .

They have been referred to as many names such as ladies of the night, courtesans, show girls, go go dancers, exotic performers, and while the titles and job descriptions vary and go on from there, the underlying purpose remains the same. These women can range in all ages, races, and sizes. For every individual type of man – there is a woman out there that represents the sole idea of a modern day Venus. This Blog series will go behind the scenes into my life. I’m Brooke Lynne; I’m a dancer at Club Risqué in Philadelphia, a model, and a self-proclaimed attention whore with an addiction to men. Join me as we strip down and get to the raw reality of life as a stripper.

  • TW Interview: The Walk Magazine

    Upenn: Photography $ Fashion

    Posted on February 8, 2012

    .

The Walk: What is the best piece of advice you would give someone who wants to go into the fashion photography industry?
TW: Study Art and Photographic History, Politics, Business and current events. It is also very important to be driven by an unrelenting passion/obsession: to become the very best in the field. As the great Alexey Brodovitch used to say: “astonish me”!

    .

    Bonnie Arbittier

    .

The Walk: Which designers have been most inspirational to your work? What about these designers resonates most with you and your personal voice?
TW: The first designer that was most inspirational early on was Emilio Pucci. He was one of the first artist that I recognized that became a master of his craft and the art of branding – by the application of his signature to has textile designs. I loved his sense of style, his choice of fabric and palette. His scarves for women and ties for men were commonplace in my parent’s wardrobes. In recent times, Calvin Klein has always impressed me for pushing the envelope of eroticism and fashion. Sam Shahid, the man behind CK’s sexy ad campaigns – designed the original lay out for my second book, Tableaux Vivants.

    .

    Renata Siruckova

    .

The Walk: What does the word “fetish” mean to you? How do you encourage a student to incorporate the concept of fetish into their fashion photographs?
TW:Fetish means a penchant or obsessive interest in a particular thing, often related to sexual desire. Any student that endeavors to incorporate the concept of a particular fetish in a body of work are encouraged to understand the law: as it applies to what is commonly referred to as the censorship of obscene material. Working within the framework of the law, is important for the production of any photograph that may be considered lewd or lascivious in nature.

    Tara McConachie

    .

The Walk: At what point do you believe that nudity in art crosses the line into pornography? Is there such a distinction?
TW: I don’t believe there is a distinction. Nudity in art is about context and sometimes the subject area of the artists oeuvre has a very compelling erotic component. Pornography is primarily defined by politicians and legislators.

  • A.H. Scott: Tickle My Fancy

    Two Models on Bed

Posted on January 29, 2012 by A.H. Scott

    .

Tickle my fancy with your words
Run your pen against my mind
My eyes expand with heavy breath as I read across the page
Every word you’ve written me has taken me to an aroused stage
Tickle me soft, as the feathers of your quill make me laugh
Tickle me harder, as a golden pen scratches my surface
Bathed in words placed from your mind to mine
I’m enraptured by your pen always when I read your words
And, oooh, here comes another swirl against my brain again
My pupils dilate in a dance of desire for these letters
Lips purr with every pronoun dribbled onto each page
Fingertips roll lightly down my thighs, as each paragraph and sentence rise
Mmm, I love to be tickled in so many ways
    Now, you know my secret
Your words just have me in this way…..

  • A.H. Scott: Long Legs

    Long Legs Reclining

    .

Posted on January 28, 2012 by A.H. Scott

    .

    She had long legs
He was built like a tree
She wrapped those long legs around his back
Relishing this aspect of human nature, she waited to extract his sap
Against the window sill, they rocked back and forth
    Strands of raindrops outside fell
Furling white curtain slightly blown by a breeze through the window
Her ass so tan and beautiful
Long black hair down her back was brushed aside by his roving hands
Down and up against the black metal sill they exhaled and inhaled each other
His crew-cut gave him a bit of fuzz on top
Her wine colored fingernails were like a roll on the top of his head
Pumping and humping on a rainy night
Intermingling on a window sill with no care or fright
A couple walking on the street below saw a curtain of white wave in the night air
Flag of fantasy’s surrender was what they saw
As the couple grinding gave into completion’s courtyard
Couple on the street tittered and stood watching
Lady with long legs and her man kept on bopping
Realizing that the curtain was no longer their mask of privacy
She laughed and he asked with a shrug, “Stop?”
Whisper came from the lips of wine, “Never”
    Rain kept rolling
Body flow of desire kept growing
Couple on the street heard that moment, gazed at one another
A simple howl from the parted window sill occurred
Couple below didn’t need to say a word, as they kissed in the rain
Long legged lovely and crew-cut lumberjack of love held onto one another tightly
Couple above and couple below both found the rain to be quite magical on that breezy night
