……….Jerome Wright is a multifaceted central Pennsylvania artist who’s work has earned him national recognition. He won a four month debut show at the Charles Wright Museum of African American History of Detroit in 2010. The museum acquired four paintings for the permanent collection of great African American painters.

In the Demuth Museum’s Collectors exhibition his painting sold for a record price for a debut artist in the history of this annual exhibit.

The late Thurlow Tibbs who’s collection of African American painters is now part of the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. and the late painter Texeira Nash were important mentors.

A military “brat” who grew up in Europe as a child, later became an inner city kid in Washington D.C. Gifted in Music , Art and Dance, he was a product of D.C’s Arts Programs. Now a master cellist, Jerome Wright was a scholarship student at the New England Conservatory of Music, and Boston University’s School of Fine Arts. He has worked as a professional in all three mediums in the United States, Brazil, and Korea.

Sometimes I contemplate if folks truly take time to publish something original, or are they only just dishing out words to fill a site. This surely doesn’t fit that mold.
