For this assignment, I decided to use my room as a backdrop. In a sudden outburst of creativity one night, I chose to draw the fruits of the Spirit all over my room. This typography-based design is a hidden talent and passion of mine, and thus the subject of my brand. My brand offers typography-based design and art services, as well as songwriting. Because of my obsession with words, and because of the intimate nature of songwriting, it only seemed fitting to have the photo shoot taken in my most personal and artistic space. I decided to use my cousin as a model and dressed her in simple black attire. The simplicity in her appearance allows the viewer to pay more attention to the words, the ambiance, and story rather than model. The typography I used was also custom-made to include musical lines, a treble clef/paintbrush fused in one, my brand name, and listed services. I wanted to have a custom design that embodied my various interests and yet stayed cohesive and competitive in higher-end luxury markets. The goal would be to offer these services to artists, singers, actors and designers, and to increase collaboration between these agents.
