THE YOUNG MAN AND THE SEA
.
I have a house facing the sea.
From my window,
I see spring blossoming at the other side, the distant land,
With birds singing at dawn and gulls hovering at dusk.
Maybe,
I will be happy tomorrow.
Always dream of water,
Just like thousands years ago,
When life originates from the ocean,
The soothing water will cleanse our body
And purify our souls.
We can become kids again,
Happily running, jumping and shouting,
So carefree.
With the bloom of youth,
I climb to the mountain top,
And see busy port brings in news,
Goods, money, and prosperity.
The kingdom of Fortune gets built overnight.
My mind lingers on those peaceful waves
Reflecting on the past, the present
And the future.
Thinking about those familiar scenes still there.
Where people are no more the same.
Facing the sea,
I open my window.
From tomorrow on,
I will go traveling, care about animals,
Write to each of dear ones
I will be a happy man tomorrow.
