“Fashion is what you adopt when you don’t know who you are”
– Quentin Crisp
Over the last year, my view on fashion has completely evolved. I used to wear whatever T-Shirt I could find and match it with one of my ten pairs of denim shorts. It wasn’t that I didn’t have a vision of what I wanted my style to be, I just didn’t care enough to dress well day in and day out. However, in the past year I changed my entire approach to fashion. I believe that your sense of style represents who you are, or at least who you want to be. I want my style to embody me. A person’s style says so much about who they are. So maybe I didn’t know who I was, but I do believe that fashion has helped me figure that out. This portfolio is a portrayal of several individuals and the way that their identity is represented though their own unique styles.
